After you contact me I will will return your message by calling your phone, unless you indicate otherwise.
We will have a brief conversation to become acquainted and learn more about each other. I will ask you what you do for your business, how long you’ve been in business, what you like about your business, how you heard about me, why you are seeking coaching, etc. I will answer all your questions too. At this time we will begin to ascertain each others level of entrepreneurial awareness and if we will be a good fit for each other.
At the end of our conversation I will let you know if I can help you and give specific examples. You will let me know if you feel safe to work with me, how my rate works for your budget, or if you need more time to consider. If you need more time to decide and seek outside advice or we need to work closer on a payment plan then we can schedule a follow-up meeting where we can talk more.
This must be a win-win for you and me. I will not pressure you into working with me. If it doesn’t feel right then we shouldn’t work together and that is ok. However, I may be able help you by recommending another coach that may be a better fit, if you are still interested in coaching. I will help you get the care you need.
Once we decide to work together we will schedule our first coaching session usually for the following week.
The first session is a comprehensive assessment of around 60-90 minutes. I will learn all I can about you and your business. This includes: the legal status of your business, licensing and insurance requirements, reputation, financial health, your education and experience, market information, customer base, customer service policies, your schedule and organization habits, your personal wellness, your stress level, what you feel your business needs, your vision of the future, what is possible, your ideal customers, and much more. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the answers. That is what I am here for.
From there, depending on the amount of care you and your business needs, I will either give you immediate tasks to complete and/or take time to begin thoughtfully strategizing a comprehensive plan of action which we will begin working on together. We will repeat this process each week, or as often as needed, until your business is running like a well oiled steam engine. I usually aim for around 3 months of weekly meetings but it may be more or less depending on your needs and how efficiently you can implement meaningful change. We will determine this together.
